Research into the vocabulary of Auslan at Macquarie University
The vocabulary and grammar of Auslan is still being documented and described. It is changing particularly because the language is being used more and more in a wider number of areas than ever before. This is partly due to availability of signed language interpreters and the development and diversification of the deaf community itself.
